All of these photos are of the same farm taken within 30 minutes of each other. I walked my way around and took various shots to see which I liked best, but in the end, I liked all of them for different reasons.

To get that dark sky, I used selective color (pushed up the black and yellow in the blue and cyan) and curves adjustments.

The colors are amazing in these photographs. Everything seems surreal; almost dreamlike. Images from the movie "What Dreams May Come" flicker through my mind's eye as I look at you work. Great job!

These are all beautiful, but I especially love the first on with the expansive sky and the house on the horizon.

What a fantastic series of this farm house. I took like them all and for different reasons. 1) Simply because of the minimal land and wonderful big sky. 2) I like the house through the vines, this perspective makes me feel like I am looking through the vines. 3) I like the sign on the tree and then the winding road to the house. 4) I like the way that sky and the hill lead you to the house. 5) The sky is so dramatic and the colors are so fantasic and then having that old tree soaking them both up is priceless.

What a way to start my week. Thanks.

Farm View V is yet another masterclass in how to work colors effectively. Woof!

What a wonderful series of photos. I am particularly fond of the third photo with the highly saturated colors, making the sky almost look stormy. Although I'm sure it's not the effect you were aiming for - I could easily see some of these shots being used for horror movies or something!

The last one is a true work of art. And again my question is what lens settings did you use for this bunch of landscapes? The last time I thought you didn't even own a wide angle, but this just looks so "wide".

I really like these beautiful shots... especially the first and last ones.

The nice thing about photoblogs is that they are a place for inspiration for the viewer and a place for critiquing for the artist.

I like most of the compositions a lot. What fantastic trees! The colors in the greens and yellows seem too saturated to me. Mainly in Farm View III. And overall each image seem just a tad dark. My favorite is Farm View V because of the simplicity of the shot. A wonderfully shaped tree against an exciting sky of clouds. Nice one.

You changed colors so much that the photos look like shots from a theatrical performance. And it's a great show :)

Wow!!!

Blimey, I really like the atmosphere created by the sky. Extemely oppressive and gives a vibrancy to the landscape. The colour truly jumps out at you. My preference has to be the last also, that tree. With this sort of light I get but a silhouette but you even managed to get detailing on it.

Even though the colors are beautiful in all images, the last is the special one. While the other photos are a little "busy" in terms of composition, the last one with its simplicity and minimal composition make you breath the open space in the fields and the sky, as if being there.
