Tulipa viridiflora 'Nightrider'
PHOTO INFO I shot this tulip in my garden on a really sunny morning, against a deeply shaded background, using spot metering at ISO 200, 1/500, f/11. I used some slight exposure compensation, too, to keep the highlights from blowing. Post-processing was a few curves adjustments, some fading in multiply mode, sharpening to the luminosity mode and a slight bit of saturation to the reds and magentas. --Kathleen Comments:
