Early Corn

This was taken back in June, when the corn was still small, probably in the early afternoon, although I can't remember specifically. Across the tiny road from this glorious field, developers are now in the process of plowing under about 20 acres and putting up a few gorgeous McMansions.

Gone forever.

Post-processing: Didn't do much to this except the usual curves, selective color saturation/desaturation, and brushed over it in 'soft light' mode.

Thanks, everyone, for continuing to visit and comment! Although I don't get to answer everyone as much as I'd like, I really appreciate the time and effort it takes to write.

Wow! These are beautiful shots. This reminds me of growing up in the midwest. Really amazing!
