Walnut, Fog, Sun

I'm in the process of re-working my archive system - so things might look a little strange if you decide to click on my "Archives" link. It'll take several weeks to iron out, but everything will be better once it's all done. In the meantime, if there is any particular image you're looking for and can't find, just shoot me an email. Thanks!

I took this photo at 7:00 this morning, walking in one of my favorite fields as the sun came up through the river fog.

Post-processing: This is a digital shot using the 300mm lens again. The fog was so dense it was easy to shoot directly at the sun and not blow out the highlights. That's one of the things I love about fog - it's a natural filter, full of surprises in how it bends light around. Very minimal post-work here - just a couple of curves adjustments and a little deepening of the reds.

Thanks as always, everyone!

Congratulations for excellent portfolio. Your photos are fine. Best wishes, Karl Leite, Natal, RN, Brazil
