We went for a walk on the old towpath along the Delaware Canal today, even though it's technically closed due to damage from a hurricane in 2004 and a flood in 2005. The Delaware River, which runs on the opposite side of the towpath, is very high due to heavy rains the last few days, so we went to take a closer look.

By the way, the inside of the tree was lined with dried up riverweed and other remnants of being under water a few times, in case you're wondering about that look. :)

Post-processing: Shot with the 5D at 17mm. Top shot 1/160s, f/9, ISO 500. Bottom shot 1/400s, f/14, ISO 500. I applied multiple curves adjustments, faded in 'multiply' mode, added some vignette, desaturated the overall image and a bit of burning/dodging here and there.
