Looking for Footprints

Another shot from Friday when the weather was too (beautifully) warm for February. We were looking for deer tracks.

Post-processing: Shot with the Canon 5D at 17mm, ISO 50, 1/200s at f/9. Adjusted white balance. Multiple curves adjustments for contrast and saturation. Selective color saturation and de-saturation. Color balancing to remove some yellow tones from the sky. Added a slight vignette.

Thanks once again for all the comments on the previous post!

I like all your photographs. Especially this one. Which is your trick to obtain these colors constant? Do you use a special filter? You use special trick in a software. I am a new photo hobbyist which would like to make this kind of photographs. Thank you.

many of your photos contain that dramatic wide angle feel of big skies and large lands... they are all so fantastic.

i could leave comments on almost every image... but this one specifically has won a lil' piece of my affection.

thanks for sharing.
