Spring Hill, 6:45 a.m

This photograph was taken today during a dense morning fog. We had heavy thunderstorms last night and the large trees were still full of raindrops.

Post-processing: Shot with the Canon EOS 5D and the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L lens at 24mm, ISO 1000, shutter speed 1/200s and aperture f/8. I converted this RAW file to black & white via a "secret technique" I learned today from a friend - we'll see if I'm allowed to reveal it sometime in the future. :) Curves adjustments for contrast and slight color balancing for tone.

Thank you for visiting Durham Township!

A stunning photo. Great composition and contrast. Nice location. The mist combined with the lighting makes the picture look like something taken from a fairy tale.
