Wonderful shot! Great tones and her expression and "costume" really works with the rest Posted by John Zeweniuk on October 30, 2006 11:33 PMA really most beautiful photo. Great atmosphere and expression! Posted by KPK on October 31, 2006 2:01 AMJust one word... SINISTER.. sets the appropriate mood for halloween! Posted by Rahul on October 31, 2006 3:00 AMThis is beautifully composed. I love the moon in the pnoto. The lighting is perfect. Posted by Laurie on October 31, 2006 5:32 AMIt doesn't scream Halloween, but you feel the creeping night in her blank expression, dark features, and vintage gown . The setting is perfect, and fits the feel of a colonial-era witch or vampire story, with a little pagan earth worship thrown-in. Posted by Robert on October 31, 2006 6:00 AM$3.95 bought you an invaluable photograph. the dark atmosphere is just right for halloween! Posted by lydia on October 31, 2006 9:16 AMI'd happily give her candy if she came to my door. I like the sinister feel to this - perfect for Halloween. Posted by peter on October 31, 2006 10:12 AMSeems a wee flat and underexposed.. Even with a simple "Auto Contrast" adjustment things become more alive: http://osenoa.com/client_data/media/October3006.jpg Lovely portrait, the expression and composition is great, though to me it screams "The Village" not "Happy Halloween" but that was an okay movie, so it's all good :P Posted by miklos on October 31, 2006 10:32 AMInteresting shot, has a very old feel to it! I like it. Posted by Craig on October 31, 2006 11:07 AMThis looks like a difficult shot. The forground and girl's face are well lit without contrasting the low-light conditions. Her eyes are striking. Posted by bryan on October 31, 2006 12:10 PMNicely done! I love it. Posted by Paxton Prints on November 1, 2006 8:56 AMThere is a little halo around head´s girl. I think you must working at the PS. Posted by Victor on November 1, 2006 2:44 PMBeautiful shot Kathleen, very well executed under tough shooting conditions. She does look quite sinister. Posted by Justin Gaynor on November 1, 2006 5:41 PMHalloween...? well, it also looks very nostalgic to me. Lovely basic colors in this one! Posted by javga on November 4, 2006 3:13 PMupdate: I missed the moon (shame on me). So, Halloween it is! Posted by javga on November 4, 2006 3:14 PMthe light is incredible, it sure turned out well Posted by pierre on November 5, 2006 4:52 AMAwesome shot. And scary.
