Dixie
PHOTOGRAPH INFO Well, I missed National Mule Day (!) on October 26th, but thought I'd post these photographs anyway; they were shot (with film) during the summertime at Hugh Moore Park in Easton, Pennsylvania, about five miles north of Durham Township. Dixie & Daisy (the mules) work at the park in the summertime. (I failed to get the handlers' names.) Take a gander at that link. Mules are simply amazing animals and these two are no exception; they're full of personality. By the way, National Mule Day is the anniversary of the first mules arriving in America. They were a gift from the King of Spain to President George Washington in 1785. Post-processing: Shot with the Nikon F75 Thank you for visiting Durham Township! --Kathleen Comments:
I love the distortion of that wide angle. I think it's just right for the them! Posted by Janet Cull at May 21, 2007 8:17 AMPost a comment
