Sunset Walk on Ice-Coated Snow

PHOTOGRAPH INFO

This photo was taken just before sunset. The snow has a coating of ice on top of it, giving it that shiny effect -- and making it darn near impossible to walk on without sliding backwards! The black things sticking up through the snow/ice are old corn stalks.

Post-processing: Shot with the Canon EOS 5D and the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L lens at 24mm, ISO 200, shutter speed 1/250s, aperture f/22. Basic curves adjustment for contrast and saturation.

Thank you for visiting Durham Township!
