Tree Swallow (Tachycineta bicolor) at Sunset

This photo was taken Saturday night at 8:00 p.m. The Tree Swallow was dive-bombing me for five minutes as I tried to take this shot! Obviously I was too close to the nest. I managed a few close-ups as she flew within inches of my head, but due to the wide aperture she was out of focus. I was pretty happy with the focus and framing on this one, though.

Post-processing: Shot with the Canon EOS 5D and the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L lens at 24mm, ISO 320, f/2.8, shutter 1/1000s. Curves adjustments, color balancing.

Thank you for visiting Durham Township!
