Jenn in Queen Anne's Lace (Daucus carota)

This photo was taken on Thursday afternoon. Jenn's lovely dress is by Rebecca Taylor. The soft look of this shot is due to a wide open lens at f/1.2.

Queen Anne's Lace was introduced to North America by European settlers who used it for medicinal purposes. It's also known as Wild Carrot, and the vegetable carrot was bred from this plant.

Post-processing: Shot with the Canon EOS 5D and the Canon 85mm f/1.2L lens at f/1.2, 1/6400s, ISO 100. Basic curves adjustments.

Thank you for visiting Durham Township!

The photo is excellant, the mood is comfortable, but the truely beautiful woman in the photo , is the photo. She is magnificent.

Definitely one of my favorites. Nice moody shot with the selective DOF and wind blown hair!
