Beautiful atmosphere... Posted by JB on November 17, 2007 8:30 AMThe last hold-outs of fall. There is such quiet beauty here. Posted by Laurie on November 17, 2007 9:45 AM
This is one of my favorite fall photos I've seen this year.. Posted by Ryan Heaney on November 17, 2007 12:40 PMI think I like this one even better than the last one. Even though there are fewer red leaves, the shape of the tree is more interesting and makes for a better composition. Nice work (as always!). Posted by Steve B. on November 17, 2007 2:01 PMOne of those beauties that pops up every autumn. Fantastic shot !! Posted by Tim on November 17, 2007 3:48 PMYour photography is very beautiful. I really like the way you capture the natural beauty of PA. I've bookmarked your site. I keep coming back again and again. Posted by Mike on November 17, 2007 5:04 PMWhat a beauty! I like the composition and love the light. Well done. Posted by Suvir Venkataraman on November 17, 2007 5:28 PMThis is perhaps the most beautiful picture of a tree I have ever seen! The balance and intensity of the colors, the fog, the clarity and shape of the tree, and all framed in perfect proportions. Simply amazing work!! Posted by Zephyr on November 17, 2007 8:14 PMAnd I love that splash of yellow and green. So pretty still! Posted by RD on November 17, 2007 8:20 PMThis colour is absolutely gorgeous! Posted by Ian on November 17, 2007 10:19 PMYou perfectly capture the season of fall... Posted by PictPicture on November 18, 2007 1:59 AMVery delicate. As the trees fade into the mist, they appear more like multiple exposure layers with opacity reduction increasing with each added layer. Without the leaves, this image becomes an abstract of contorted linear blues and blacks, but the leaves remind me that this is just another marvelously romanticized, forest fantasy--commonly to be found on an autumn walk though Durham Township. Just another great walk, thank you. Love the rich colors set against those dark tree trunks. The fogs adds such a mystical feeling. Very beautiful Kathleen! Posted by Kim on November 18, 2007 2:28 PMVery nice contrast of the saturated colors against the darker tree bark and the lighter fog. Posted by Russ on November 18, 2007 7:14 PMSuperb Shot!!!!!!!!!!!! this is the best photo i have seen this year. well done. it is flawless.
