Cumulonimbus Cloud (with Rainbow)
PHOTOGRAPH INFO I was working at my desk around 5:30 p.m. when Jenn (my niece, sometimes employee & sometimes model) came running into the house yelling "RAINBOWS!" at the top of her lungs. I looked out the front window and saw two huge rainbows behind a group of trees. I grabbed the camera and asked Jenn to drive me to a clearing down the road. By the time we got there (despite Jenn's expert driving!) there was just a small portion of one rainbow left, but the storm cloud from which the rainbows seemed to form had gotten a whole lot larger! Check out the larger version of this photo for more detail. Camera settings and post-processing: Shot with the Canon EOS 5D Thank you for visiting Durham Township! -- Kathleen Comments:

Posted by digital anomaly at May 21, 2011 2:56 PMDon't know if I'd want to see this in real life or not although it would be totally freaking to see with your own eyes. The cloud and panorama here really drew me in. Then I saw the rainbow.. Posted by Yucel at April 26, 2012 10:30 AMPost a comment
