Rainbow in a Cornfield, 7:40 p.m.

It was a summer full of rainbows. Every shower or thunderstorm seemed to have one in tow and I was able to catch a lot of them with the camera. This photo was taken during the evening of July 17th when the sun was low in the sky, before the corn had its tassels.

Camera settings and post-processing: Shot with the Canon EOS 5D and the Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L IS lens at 70mm, ISO 800, f/14, shutter 1/250s. Curves, color balancing.

Thank you for visiting Durham Township!

Lovely photo with a boy there. You must be quite far to shot using 70mm not so wide end; and still the boy was able to look at you.

Your photoblog is inspiring. It is pleasure to go to this site; thanks the AP magazine.

Keep posting the gorgeous pictures.
